Charles W. Lindberg

Charles W. "Chuck" Lindberg (June 26, 1920 – June 24, 2007) was an American and a United States Marine corporal during World War II who was part of the combat patrol that climbed Mount Suribachi and raised the first of two U.S. flags on the summit during the Battle of Iwo Jima on February 23, 1945.
